Heat Pumps
A heat pump is an electrical device that extracts heat from one place and
transfers it to another. This is not new technology and has been used in Atlantic
Canada for decades.
It’s interesting to note that while a heat pump provides heat for your
home in the winter, its cycle is fully reversible and also provides cooling
and dehumidifying in the summer.
Air Source Heat Pumps:
These units absorb heat from the outdoor air in winter and extracts heat from
your home in summer.
1. Air-to-Air - It extracts heat from the air and then transfers heat to either
the inside or outside of your home, depending on the season.
